Jewel the Cat, 198?-2003

Jewel the Cat, known for her love of sunbeams, laps and mouse heads, passed away last week at the estimated age of 20 people years. Although dainty, petite and sweet, not to mention blind and deaf for the past few years, Jewel maintained her alpha-female status to the end, easily dominating Fermi the Cat, 1/3 her age and twice her weight. Guardians Deb and John will miss her, Fermi perhaps less so.
